TEACHER'S INTRODUCTION

MRS. HUBBARD

Dear Parent/Guardian,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to a new school year at Transfiguration Catholic Elementary School.  I hope that everyone is ready to show our school spirit and EAGLES PRIDE!

This school year promises to bring many new experiences and challenges. In order to make this school year a successful one team work and cooperation by all would be greatly appreciated.  As the eighth grade teacher it is my goal to help the students to become confident learners by:

-Encouraging active participation.
-Encouraging students to exceed expectations.
-Reinforcing listening and communication skills.

My Teaching Style

I teach from a standard that allows students to learn by incorporating learning activities, in a cooperative setting, in order to help reinforce student lessons.  I am a firm believer in cooperative learning.  I have high expectations for every student.  Lastly, I believe that every student can learn, and that we are all life long learners.

Please look for your son or daughter's eighth grade packet, which will be distributed during the first week of school.  This packet will have vital classroom information.  Also, there are two forms that need to be completed by parents/guardians, and  must be returned promptly on the following school day.

I look forward to meeting all of you....

SIncerely,

Mrs. Hubbard
